Kyle Larson, Senior Pastor

Pastor Kyle Larson became the Senior Pastor of the Sidney Evangelical Free Church in July 2021 after serving as Youth Pastor here since 2008. Kyle is originally from Kansas and is a graduate of Tabor College and Portland Seminary. His lovely wife Anne is from Naperville, Illinois. Kyle and Anne have four children, and they are all enjoying life in the panhandle of Nebraska. Kyle loves to equip and encourage parents to disciple their children and help cultivate spiritual formation in the lives of every follower of Jesus. Kyle believes with all his heart that Jesus is utterly amazing and worth following with everything you have.

Zane Hall, Youth & Connection Pastor

Pastor Zane grew up in Sidney, NE and first heard the gospel of Jesus at age 5 while attending Vacation Bible School at Sidney E- Free Church. Zane is a graduate of Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, MI. He became Youth & Connection Pastor at the Evangelical Free Church in June 2026. Zane is passionate about discipling people and helping them get closer to Jesus. His wife Shana, grew up in Chadron, NE. Zane and Shana have three children. When not at the church you will most likely find Zane with his family. Wrestling with the kids, taking walks, playing at the park, board games, and backyard baseball are some of the things the Halls can be seen doing together. Zane enjoys coffee, cheeseburgers, college and Major League baseball, college football and reading.
